What is NFC?

NFC stands for Near Field Communication. It is used mainly with mobile phones to share details such as web pages, text files and other data.

So what is a KNEKT.me card which uses NFC?

KNEKT.me uses the technology to point the reader to our web app which displays your details on the recipient's device.

Can I change the information on my KNEKT.me public profile?

Yes you can. Your public profile is quickly and easily editable from within the web app. Just click on the "Edit My Card" option on the menu. You can upload your profile picture here too.

What if I lose or break my card?

As a member of KNEKT.me, you will can request 1 free card within any 12 month period. We will even pay the postage! If you require more than 1 card within any 12 month period, these will be at a cost of just £10 which includes postage.

What is the cost of KNEKT.me?

KNEKT.me costs £20 for the card which includes the first 12 months subscription. After year 1, the cost will be just £12 per year.

Do you offer a referral program?

It's in development and testing, check back soon.

What are the current functions of KNEKT.me?

In the web app, the recipient can download the details from your public profile into a contact on their mobile phone. They can also find links to up to 3 web pages which you have populated. This could be your business website, online shop, Google Review page, TrustPilot or whatever web page you have chosen to use. There is also the facility to populate your profile with links to your Social Media profiles. If you want to write a short paragraph about what you are currently doing, you can put this on your profile at the bottom so that people have current, up to date information about you.

What are the future plans for KNEKT.me?

KNEKT.me is a relatively new platform which will evolve over time. We listen to our subscribers and tailor the service to their requirements. It is essentially designed with the business networker in mind to help them to issue information about themselves and their business with efficiency.

Is my data on KNEKT.me safe?

You are responsible for the data that you choose to put on your profile. The web app is public so we recommend only putting the information in your profile which you want the world to see.
